How to Recognise Quality Shilajit

How to Recognise Quality Shilajit

When comparing Shilajit, a dramatic label or a long list of promises tells you very little about product quality. More useful questions are: what exactly is in the jar, where does it come from, how is it processed, and is the finished batch independently tested?

Start with the ingredient list. A resin product should clearly state what it contains. Organic & Co uses one declared ingredient: 100% purified Shilajit resin, without fillers, added sugar, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Next, look for traceable origin and realistic product information. Be cautious with vague superlatives such as “the purest” or “the best” when there is no objective basis behind them.

Laboratory information is another important signal. A useful lab report or consumer summary should explain what was actually tested rather than simply displaying the words “lab tested”. Depending on the product, relevant areas can include composition, microbiological quality and contaminants such as heavy metals.

Finally, look at the way the brand communicates. Responsible communication should distinguish documented product facts, traditional context and personal experience from guaranteed health outcomes.

At Organic & Co, we aim to make those checks visible so customers can make their own informed comparison.
